Showground Markets Tamborine Mountain - Next Market Sunday 8th August 2010

The exciting and bustling Showground Markets are held on Mount Tamborine the 2nd Sunday of every month. If you are in the mood to buy there are lots & lots of interesting stalls enticing you with their very diverse range of products. Pick something up for yourself, a family member or that someone very special in your life. Should you get hungry or thirsty there are many food stalls to satisfy your appetite whilst listening to background music or letting performers entertain you. Lots to do for all of the family. Just follow the signs and the line of cars to get to the market.

Tamborine Mountain 'Seasons on the Mountain' - May, Aug and Oct 2010

Open Gardens of distinction - After 25 years of presenting the 'Springtime on the Mountain' festival, the Tamborine Mountain Garden Club Inc is bowing to popular demand and proudly announces a new and exciting format which will now showcase the Autumn and Winter seasons too, and will be known as 'Seasons on the Mountain'. Mt Tamborine is one of Australia's most exciting gardening areas and known for its temperate plantings, deciduous trees, magnolias, camellias and flowering fruit trees which can now be enjoyed in 3 private gardens and the spectacular Botanic Gardens.

AUTUMN - MAY, Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th (Mothers' Day)
WINTER - AUGUST, Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th
SPRING - OCTOBER, Friday 1st, Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd
Admission $5.00 per garden (children - no charge)

School Markets Mt Tamborine - Next Market Sunday 29th August 2010

The quaint School Markets are held on the last Sunday of every month opposite the Tamborine Mountain State School (cnr Long & Curtis Roads). Stalls galore with fun and interesting products for sale, especially bric-a-brac, antiques, country furniture, books and craft. They say that you can get the best value and best tasting burger around at the market so you'll just have to pop up and give them a try. Not feeling in the mood for a burger then visit one of the many food stalls for other tasty offerings and refreshing drinks.

Tour de Tamborine - Sunday 21st November 2010

Set in the picturesque surroundings of Tamborine Mountain and the Gold Coast Hinterland, the day comprises the organisation of several cycling, running or walking events for all ages and abilities, backed up with fun family activities and entertainment, all with the purpose of raising much needed funds for charity. Scarecrow Festival Mount Tamborine - Weekend of Friday 24th June thru Sunday 26th June 2011

This wonderfully entertaining event held every year on Tamborine Mountain over a full weekend, allows visitors and locals alike to explore the 'Scarecrow Trail' around the mountain and discover the many artistic (and some downright comical) scarecrows created by the good people of Mt Tamborine. The festival atmosphere is maintained with musicians and other performing artists to entertain you. There are many food and drink 'opportunities' to ensure that you do not go hungry or thirsty as well as all of the normal attractions of Tamborine Mountain (please visit our things to do on Mount Tamborine page to get some ideas and to help you plan your visit).
