The Piggies as it is known locally, is top class, great food, great service and tight menu.  Their speciality pork belly is to die for, all their fare is beautifully presented making this restaurant one for a special occasion.  We highly recommend The Piggies to our guests and judging by the comments, they have not been disappointed.

Shiju and Alex have created a top class Indian Restaurant here on Tamborine Mountain! Wow, the flavours are just fabulous, the portion size is perfect if you don’t get carried away and of course the service is great too. This restaurant is beautifully done in every way and it is BYO as well as licensed too which makes it great value for money. If Indian food is your preference, this is a must! Perfect in every way!

Andrew Quarantini is an amazing chef and we are privileged to now have him on the Mountain at Mason Wines Mt Tamborine Restaurant. Andrew’s menu is unique in its delicate tastes and attention to detail that make his presentation second to none. Naturally his deserts are beautifully crafted to complete your meal. Every effort is made to source natural produce locally which is proudly highlighted on their menus, it has become the place to go for that special long lunch complimented with excellent Mason wines. In the mid/upper price range it is worth the money for the quality of the food and service. The Platters for are highly recommended.

Belvedere on Main

Mario hails from Naples, the home of the Pizza and has the only wood fired pizza oven on the Mountain. His pizzas are amazing. As is typical in Italian restaurants, the servings are generous, the venue quite small and the staff friendly. This is a restaurant we recommend, it is open seven days a week and can always be relied on to be consistent. If you love Italian food you will love Belvedere on Main. This is a BYO restaurant.

Clancy’s Irish Bar & Restaurant

Main Street – Phone 07 5545 1531

Great Irish comfort food from the Beef and Guinness Pie, Irish Stew to the Bangers and Mash, you can’t go past Clancy’s Irish Pub. Beer and Guinness is On Tap and served by the pint! The servings are generous! Along with the regular Irish specialities, there is a seasonal menu that changes regularly. Friday and Saturday nights there is live Irish music, the fire burns warm in Winter and the deck is great on a Summer evening with an ice cold beer. Clancy’s is more a restaurant than a pub but reminds you of Ireland – open seven days but not on Public Holidays.

By night festoon lights and candles complete the picture. The menu is contemporary and inventive, combining produce from local farms, dairies and waterways. The wine list features international, Australian and regional wines and liqueurs.

This fun new restaurant is all about ribs! Ribs cooked to perfection, sticky and yummy, with great side dishes, craft beers and cocktails. The venue is tiny which just adds to the atmosphere. What a great concept – it has really taken off so bookings are essential.

El Burro Cantina

16-18 Main Western Road – phone 07 5545 4003

Wine and beer are sold but it doesn’t have to be an expensive night out! El Burro comes on our list of recommendations as a cheerful relaxed casual dining experience, reasonable value for money and with great service. The menu is restricted to, well, Mexican food, but it caters especially well for vegetarians.
